Olena is a financial services professional with over a decade of experience in fund administration, accounting, and treasury operations, with a particular focus on regulated investment fund structures. She currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Blackbeard Asset Management, where she provides board-level oversight on financial governance, regulatory compliance, and operational integrity across the firm’s emerging markets credit strategies.

Olena previously held several senior roles within the UFG Capital Investment Management Group, a CySEC-regulated AIFM, where she was Head of Back Office and Head of Accounting between 2017 and 2020. In those roles, she was responsible for fund administration, regulatory reporting (AIFMD, EMIR, MiFIR), and coordination with auditors, custodians, and banks. She implemented robust back-office systems and led efforts to streamline financial reporting and investor account operations.

Before joining UFG, Olena was Senior Treasury Associate at UFG Wealth Management, where she managed high-net-worth client relationships, financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, and borrowing arrangements, while interacting closely with banks and custodians across jurisdictions. Her earlier experience includes finance and analyst roles in Ukraine’s infrastructure and retail sectors, where she led budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
